Mission
Provide working
adults with an accessible program to prepare the
GED exam and to improve skills, increase
earnings, and allow students to embark on a
successful career ladder. One general program is
at Career Resources and another program, ReEntry
Adult Education specifically for ex-offenders,
is offered at the Council of Churches and Maple
St. House.
Eligibility
Any working adult
who wishes to improve basic skills. Many feel
uncomfortable in the city’s adult education, or
can’t attend due to work or family commitments.
The State program focuses on ex-offenders.
